Shrayk is a bilingual packaged-food barcode lookup app designed around Saudi and GCC shelves. The current release scans supported EAN and UPC barcodes, retrieves product records from Open Food Facts, shows a product page, and keeps local history in Arabic and English.

Approved short description

Shrayk helps people look up packaged-food information by scanning a barcode, with an Arabic-first interface and transparent product-data sourcing.

Do not describe the current app as providing health scores, personalized recommendations, offline access, cosmetics analysis, or AI chat. Those capabilities are roadmap items.

Name and wordmark

Use Shrayk in English and شرايك in Arabic. Do not typeset the Arabic wordmark with disconnected letters, add gradients, or recolor the mark outside the approved deep-teal and single-color variants.
